Keshgarh Sahib Gurdwara, also known as Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, holds significant historical and spiritual importance in Sikhism. Located in the city of Anandpur Sahib, in the Rupnagar district of Punjab, India, it is one of the five takhts, or temporal seats of authority, in Sikhism.

Foundation by Guru Gobind Singh: Keshgarh Sahib Gurdwara was established by Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, in 1689. He founded the Khalsa order here on the day of Baisakhi (April 13th), in 1699.
Creation of the Khalsa: The most significant event associated with Keshgarh Sahib is the formation of the Khalsa Panth (the Sikh community of "the pure") by Guru Gobind Singh. It was here that the Guru administered the Amrit (the Sikh baptism) to his first five disciples, known as the Panj Pyare (the Five Beloved Ones).
