Guru granth sahib

The  Guru Granth Sahib is a lengthy religious text coprising 1430

pages,comiled and composed by the sikh gurus from 1469 to 1708.

                                                   

    It consists of 19 lines of per page,with a total of 26,852 lines.

    The text was first assembled by the fifth sikh guru.

    Guru arjun Dev,from the hymns of the first five sikh gurus.

    The guru granth sahib,also called adi granth,is the holy book of the religion sikhim.it contains  prayers,and hymns of sikh religion...Thus,the Guru granth Sahib means a master book by the teacher.
